Young-ji is an obscure poet, sharing a collective workroom with Sang-min, a painter friend, and Ji-hong, an actor friend. On the day Young-ji writes a poem titled “Silence of the night”, she hears about the bankruptcy of her family.

As a result of following one’s heart, doing what he/she wants to do, there may be times of anxiety and fear about the unpredictable future. The sense of reality that engulfs us on such moments, sometimes effect our lives in too many ways. Illusions of having become an useless being in the society, lead us to make certain decisions. The film had hoped to support those about to make these decisions, and bring about the fact that even in darkness it is oneself that shines, whatever the decisions may be.
