SYNOPSIS
영지는 무명 시인으로 화가인 친구 상민 그리고 배우인 친구 지홍과 함께 공동작업실을 쉐어해서 지내고 있다. 어느날 영지는 <밤의 침묵>이라는 시를 쓰는데, 그 날 가족들의 파산 소식을 듣게 된다.
DIRECTING INTENTION
하고 싶은 걸 하다보면 정답이 없는 미래에 대해 두려움을 안고 불안에 빠질 때가 있다. 그럴 때 문득 찾아오는 현실이란 고비는 삶에 너무나 많은 영향을 주기도 한다. 그 순간 사람들은 자칫 사회에 불필요한자가 되어버린 것 같은 착각에 빠져 차차 어떤 결정을 하게 되는데 이 영화를 통해 그 결정이 어떤 선택이든 힘들고 지친 어둠 속에서도 빛나는 것은 자기 자신이라는 응원을 건네고 싶다.

SYNOPSIS
Young-ji is an obscure poet, sharing a collective workroom with Sang-min, a painter friend, and Ji-hong, an actor friend. On the day Young-ji writes a poem titled “Silence of the night”, she hears about the bankruptcy of her family.
DIRECTING INTENTION
As a result of following one’s heart, doing what he/she wants to do, there may be times of anxiety and fear about the unpredictable future. The sense of reality that engulfs us on such moments, sometimes effect our lives in too many ways. Illusions of having become an useless being in the society, lead us to make certain decisions. The film had hoped to support those about to make these decisions, and bring about the fact that even in darkness it is oneself that shines, whatever the decisions may be.
