SYNOPSIS

At the age of 93, my dear grandma tried to commit suicide. I am so afraid that she might go away, but I am spending time with her so as to make our farewell more beautiful and warmer.

DIRECTING INTENTION

“Let’s get going now.
I had a good time.
It was as if I was on a trip somewhere far away.”

That's what she said after seeing a reservoir near grandma's house. Maybe life is 'It was as if I was on a trip somewhere far away' and goes back home.
To me, death seems pretty scary and distant. I'm sure it's like that to others.
However, I changed my mind after seeing my grandma in her Korean traditional dress saying "I want to get married in the heaven." with smile on her face.
What is left in death without fear and panic?
If death is like going back home after a journey, would it be possible for me to let her go happily? Is it going to be possible for all of us?
I want to find an answer to it, and I want her death to be like a festival, that's why I'm making this film.
