A woman looks after her paralyzed mother. While holding down a part-time job, she decides to kill herself. Meanwhile, a police officer—who, as a child, saw his own mother committing suicide—grapples with the meaning of life. The two decide to make a suicide pact.

Haven't I passed by them while they were dithering around the corner of death?
I might have walked by the car they parked, I might have come across them in the convenience store where I went to buy cigarettes.
I was depressed for a while at the fact of grazing between persons can not be any consolation.
That time has passed, now I want to offer words of consolation to people who are in painful moment like them and to myself, too.
