SYNOPSIS

It is blowing. A starving man is fallen down in the street beside the railroads. A train is passing indifferently. An old woman passes him. He runs after her desperately, kills her with a stone and takes the wallet from her bag. It blows again. He stays his stomach with the money he took from her. The street he was lying on is empty now. It blows again.

DIRECTING INTENTION

A devil-like man killed an old lady only to take a small piece of money. He suffered from serious hunger which made him commit murder to take the money but what she had was only 800 won. My intention was to take a double perspective on the single phenomenom, in other words to catch a tense relation between an innated evil spirit of humanbeing and the structural contradiction of our society. In my work, the relationship between the humankind's complex way of living and the structure of society is to be described. For making a movie is one of the ways of living, I want to make a natural and frank work.
