SYNOPSIS
아마추어 격투기 선수 송하는 시합 중 기절하며 그날의 경기 내용을 망각해 버린다. 어느 날 송하에게 22년 전 자신을 버렸던 아버지의 고독사 소식이 전해진다. 아버지에 대한 기억도, 감정도 불분명한 채, 그는 단절되었던 과거의 흔적을 따라나서기 시작한다.
DIRECTING INTENTION
‘스크램블’은 흐릿한 기억과 존재로부터 출발한다. 송하는 아버지의 빈집에서 5살의 자신과 기억에서 지운 아픈 뿌리를 마주한다. 영화는 송하의 선택과 운명에 정답을 내리지 않는다. 다만 자신을 제압하던 삶의 백초크를 기어코 뜯어내려는 스크램블의 순간을 포착할 뿐이다.

SYNOPSIS
Amateur MMA fighter Song-ha blacks out during a match, losing all memory of the fight. Soon after, he receives news of the solitary death of his father, who abandoned him 22 years ago. With fragmented memories and hollow emotions, Song-ha begins to trace the echoes of a long-severed past.
DIRECTING INTENTION
Scramble originates from blurred memories and forgotten existences. In his father’s vacant house, Song-ha confronts his five-year-old self and the painful roots he had long suppressed. The film offers no easy answers to his choices or destiny. Instead, it captures the raw, visceral moment of a ‘scramble’—his desperate struggle to tear away the ‘rear-naked choke’ of life that has held him down.
