SYNOPSIS
괜찮지만은 않은 삶 속에서 우리는 어떤 선택을 하며 살아가야 할까.
살아내고 싶은 것인지, 사라지고 싶은 것인지.
마음을 잃으면 그조차 알 수가 없을 것이다.
예리는 의뢰를 받아 자신의 마음을 잃어 가며 누군가를 세상에서 지우는 사람이다.
점차 마음을 잃어 감에 따라 한동안 꿈꾸지 못했던 예리는ﾠ
어느 날부턴가 꿈을 꾸기 시작했고,
꿈속에 반복해서 나타나는 사람이 누구인지 알고 싶어 한다.
예리는 자신의 마음이 조금이라도 남아 있을 때 꿈속의 사람 ‘한’을 찾으려 길을 떠난다.
한을 찾으려 떠난 그 길 위에서 자신이 잃어버린 것이 무엇인지 몰라 늘 과거를 추억하며 극장을 찾는 호정, 늘 새로운 길과 꿈을 찾아 나서는 우리 그리고 같은 일을 하는 동료지만 자신과 다른 선택을 하는 형근을 마주하게 된다.
그리고 마침내 만나게 된 두 사람.
하지만 예리는 자신의 남아 있는 마음을 사용해 한을 지우려 한다.
한의 마지막 부탁으로 예리는 한의 마음을 받게 되고, 그 마음의 무게를 느끼게 된 예리는 다시 그녀를 찾기 위해 새로운 곳으로 향하게 된다.
DIRECTING INTENTION
모든 사람은 자기 삶의 의미를 부여하고자 한다. 크게는 일, 가족, 관계. 작게는 사소한 취미나 습관 등, 무엇인가에 의미가 생기고 그것은 때론 사랑이 되기도 한다. 사랑은 우리에게 변화를 일으키고, 우리는 개인적인 혁명들을 이루며 살아간다. 그것은 우리 삶의 내일이기도 하다.
이 영화는 ‘자신이 잃은 것이 무엇인가’를 찾아가는 이야기이다.
자기 삶에 의미를 부여하고 미래를 꿈꿀 수 있는 마음을 갖는 것이 얼마나 중요하고 소중한 것인지에 관한 이야기를 만들고 싶었다.

SYNOPSIS
How should we choose to live in a life that is not always okay?
Do we want to keep living, or do we want to disappear?
If we lose our heart, we may no longer know the answer.
Ye-ri is a woman who erases people from the world at the request of others, gradually losing pieces of her own heart in the process. As her heart slowly drains away, Ye-ri stops dreaming. Then one day, she begins to dream again. Determined to discover the identity of "Han," the mysterious figure who repeatedly appears in her dreams, Ye-ri sets out on a journey while she still has a bit of her heart left.
During her journey to find Han, she encounters Ho-jeong, who lingers in movie theaters, reminiscing about the past because she cannot remember what she has lost; Woo-ri, who is always searching for new paths and dreams; and Hyung-geun, a colleague who does the same work as Ye-ri but makes different choices. At last, Ye-ri meets Han. Yet Ye-ri attempts to erase Han with what remains of her own heart. At Han’s final request, Ye-ri receives Han’s heart. Feeling the weight of that heart, Ye-ri sets out once again toward a new place, hoping to find her.
DIRECTING INTENTION
Everyone seeks to find meaning in their lives. It can be found in the bigger things in life, like work, family, or relationships, as well as in the smaller things, like simple hobbies or daily habits. As we discover meaning in our lives, it can sometimes evolve into love. Love brings about change within us, and that change inevitably leaves an imprint on our lives. Whether it is significant or minor, love is a revolutionary act, and we navigate life through these personal revolutions, which ultimately shape our tomorrows.
This film follows a search for what one has lost. I wanted to show how essential and precious it is to have a heart capable of giving meaning to one’s life and dreaming of the future.
