SYNOPSIS
유흥사업의 실패로 사채업자들에게 쫓기게 된 홍석. 엄동설한 날씨 속에 거리 생활을 하게 된 홍석은 우연치 않게 자판기에서 500원 짜리 동전 하나를 발견하게 되는데...
DIRECTING INTENTION
우리가 살고 있는 풍요로운 자본주의 사회의 이면에는 세상의 모든 것을 상품화하고 약자에 대한 끊임없는 착취가 정당화되는 추악한 모습이 공존한다. 드러나지 않은 누군가에 의해 계획된 덫에 걸린 약자는 찰나의 욕망으로 인해 착취당하고 착취한 것들은 상품화되어 또 다른 누군가에게 소비되는 세상. 그 끝을 알 수 없는 뫼비우스의 띠와 같은 무한의 연속. 제국주의 시대의 노예와 다를 것이 없는 현대인의 삶과 욕망에 대한 이야기를 자판기와 한 인간에 대한 짧은 단상으로 표현하고자 한다.

SYNOPSIS
Hong-seok is chased by loan sharks due to his failure from prostitution business. Day by day, he sleeps in the open in bitter weather. By chance, he finds a coin in a vending machine. Hong-seok uses the coin to buy a cup of warm coffee. When he leaves the spot, he feels something strange.
DIRECTING INTENTION
On the other side of our flourishing capitalistic society, coexists a world where everything is commercialized and the exploitation of people are justified. Caught in the trap set by an unidentified subject, people are exploited, and the output from such exploitation is consequently commercialized, and what has been commercialized is quickly consumed by another. The endless continuation like a Möbius strip. The film explores the life and desire of people in this modern age, which does not differ too much from that of slaves in the colonial age, through fragmented thoughts on a person and a vending machine.
