SYNOPSIS
새벽이 되면 자주 배가 고팠다. 그럴 때면 지난 여름, 아빠가 주말 농장에서 기른 옥수수를 냉동실에서 꺼내 먹는다. 2분 30초, 묵은 옥수수가 전자레인지 안에서 돌아가는 동안 주니는 생각한다. 아빠는 왜 갑자기 화가 났을까?
DIRECTING INTENTION
나에게 일어나는 모든 일이 인과적으로 명료하기를 바라지만, 무 자르듯 딱 떨어지는 이유들 만으로 삶이 흘러가는 게 아니라는 것을 안다. 내가 당신을, 당신이 나를 온전히 이해하게 되는 일 역시 일어나지 않을 것이다. 그 때의 "왜?"는 이제 없다. 기억력이 안 좋은 사람이 오래전 일을 더듬더듬 떠올려내는 것처럼 몇 가지 풍경만이 있을 뿐이다.

SYNOPSIS
Joonie often used to get hungry late at night. Whenever she did, she went to the freezer and took out the corn her father grew at his weekend farm last summer. Two minutes and thirty seconds. While the corn was slowly spinning in the microwave, Joonie wondered to herself. Why did father get mad all of a sudden?
DIRECTING INTENTION
Although I wish everything that happens to me will be transparent in terms of cause and effect, I am aware that life does not always present us with clear reasons. Likewise, I will never be able to understand you completely, and you won’t be able to understand me completely either. I no longer ask, "Why?" Like an absent minded person who vaguely recalls old memories, all I am left with, are just a few scenes.
