SYNOPSIS
은실은 버스에 두고 내린 목도리를 찾으러 차고지에 들른다. 허나 목도리는 이미 의문의 여자 희수의 손에 들어간 상황. 목도리를 되찾기 위해 분투하던 그때 차고지 직원이 똑같은 목도리를 하나 더 가져다준다. 은실의 사투는 이내 기억과 물리학을 동원하는 연구로 변모한다. 둘 중 내 목도리는 하나뿐이다.

이 이야기는 완벽하게 동일한 두 개의 사물에 대한 상상이다.
오랜 세월 각기 다른 주인의 손을 타며 닳고 닳은 두 물건에 대한...
물건과 사람의 관계를 통해 ‘나’라는 존재가 어디까지 확장되고 어디까지 축소될 수 있는지를,
그리고 그 존재론적 위기를 벗어나는 궁극적인 방법은 무엇일지를 탐구해 보고 싶었다.

SYNOPSIS
Eunshil visits a bus depot to retrieve a scarf she left behind on a bus. However, she discovers that the scarf has already been claimed by an unfamiliar woman named Heesu. As Eunshil struggles to prove that the scarf belongs to her, a depot worker brings her another scarf — identical in every way. What began as a desperate attempt to recover a lost item turns into an investigation involving memory and physics. Of the two scarves, only one can truly be hers.
DIRECTING INTENTION
This film began with the idea of two perfectly identical objects. Two items worn down over many years, each shaped by the touch and use of a different owner. Through the relationship between people and objects, I wanted to explore how far the boundaries of the self can expand, how far they can contract, and what the ultimate way out of such an ontological crisis might be.
