The Mole Game

SYNOPSIS

DIRECTING INTENTION

SYNOPSIS

Though the world dismisses Yunho as a fool, to his older brother and sole protector Minho, Yunho’s disability is an unjust stigma he refuses to accept. When suffocating prejudice brands Yunho a criminal, Minho is pushed with him to the brink of isolation. Amid the wreckage, Yunho still reaches out with the same warmth, and the two emerge closer than ever.

DIRECTING INTENTION

In a world where even honestly collected receipts become evidence of a crime, the socially vulnerable resemble figures in a “whack-a-mole” game—struck down without knowing why whenever they raise their heads. While starkly recording the hypocrisy of a society quick to judge, I sought to hold onto the warmth of two brothers embracing each other’s wounds at the end of this brutal game.
