SYNOPSIS
올해로 서른 살이 된 무명배우 은지는 오디션에도 나이 제한이 생기자 힘이 빠진다. 오전에는 오디션 준비를, 저녁에는 동료들과 연기 스터디를 하며 서로를 위로하지만 휴대폰에는 탈락 문자만 울릴 뿐이다. 우리만 불합격하는 이 세상이 뒤집혀 버렸으면 좋겠다고 빌어 보지만 탈락의 하루 끝에 할 수 있는 건 여전히 오디션 지원뿐이다. 그런데 그날 밤, 세상이 뒤집혔다.
DIRECTING INTENTION
우리의 처지를 비관하거나 연민하지 않고 유쾌하게 나아가고 있음을 보여 주고 싶었습니다. 부지런히 노력하며 살지만 합격이라는 보상은 좀처럼 따라 주지 않습니다. 내가 사랑하는 영화속에서만큼은 큼지막한 보상을 받는 엔딩을 가져 보고 싶었습니다. 나와 내 동료들 그리고 어딘가에서 열렬히 꿈꾸고 있는 사람들을 떠올리며 만들었습니다.

SYNOPSIS
Eunji, an unknown actor who turned thirty this year, loses heart when auditions start to come with age limits. She spends her mornings preparing for auditions and her evenings in acting study sessions with fellow actors, where they comfort one another, but the only messages on their phones are rejections. They wish this world, where only they keep failing, would turn upside down, yet at the end of each day of rejection, all they can do is apply for another audition. Then, that night, the world turns upside down.
DIRECTING INTENTION
I wanted to show that we keep moving forward cheerfully, without despairing over our situation or pitying ourselves. We work hard and live diligently, but the reward of being cast rarely follows. At least in the films I love, I wanted an ending with a big reward. I made this film thinking of myself, my fellow actors, and everyone out there who is dreaming fiercely.
