SYNOPSIS
차이밍량의 DVD를 주문했는데 AV가 함께 왔다. 해명을 위해 가게를 찾아간 윤재는 주원을 만나고, 둘은 어색한 거리감 너머로 각자의 공백을 채워 간다.

<빔>은 빔프로젝터의 ‘Beam’이자, 비어 있는 사람들의 ‘빔’을 의미한다.
이 영화엔 거대한 사건도 극적인 결말도 없다. 대신 영화 한 편을 함께 보고, 같은 장면을 바라보고, 침묵을 공유하는 시간이 사람을 어떻게 조금씩 살아가게 만드는지 이야기하고 싶었다.

SYNOPSIS
Yoonjae orders a Tsai Ming-Liang DVD, but an adult video arrives with it. When he visits the store to ask what happened, he meets Juwon. Beyond their awkward distance, the two begin to fill the empty spaces in each other’s lives.
DIRECTING INTENTION
Beam refers to the beam of a projector, while also meaning ‘emptiness’ in Korean. There are no grand events or dramatic endings in this film. Instead, we wanted to tell a story about how the simple act of watching a film together, looking at the same scene, and sharing silence can slowly help people keep living.
