SYNOPSIS
영화감독 주연은 전 연인이었던 배우와 함께 찍은 작품을 편집 중이다.
영화를 멋지게 완성하면 멀어진 관계가 자연스레 회복될 거라 믿었지만,
중요한 컷의 해상도가 240p로 저하되는 오류가 발생하며 희망은 산산조각 난다.
주연은 흐려진 영화, 흐려진 관계 속에서 편집의 방향성을 잃고 헤맨다.
DIRECTING INTENTION
실패한 영화를 편집하는 일은 성찰을 동반한다. 배우의 연기를 탓하고, 스태프의 실수를 원망하다 끝내 원인은 나에게 있음을 깨닫는다. 그럼에도 누군가는 가치를 알아봐 주지 않을까 헛된 희망을 품는다. 이별을 받아들이는 과정도 다를 바 없다. 진심 어린 마음을 알아주면 좋으련만 잘못된 기획의도와 방향성으로는 선명하게 전달할 수 없다.

SYNOPSIS
Director Juyeon is editing a film she made with her former lover, who also starred in it. She believes that completing the film successfully will naturally restore their relationship. But when a technical error lowers the resolution of an important scene, that hope begins to fall apart. Lost in a blurred film and a blurred relationship, Juyeon loses her way in the edit.
DIRECTING INTENTION
Editing a failed film comes with reflection. I blame the actor's performance, resent the crew's mistakes, and in the end come to realize that the cause lies with me. And yet I cling to a vain hope that someone might recognize its worth after all. Accepting a parting is no different. I wish my sincerity could be recognized, but with misguided intentions and direction, it cannot come through clearly.
