DIRECTING INTENTION

SYNOPSIS
Hye-joo walks through a sunlit park with her friend So-hyun, who suffers from a mental illness. There, So-hyun tells her about the sounds she heard from the baby inside her when she was heavily pregnant. Unable to forget the story yet unable to understand it, Hye-joo closes her eyes and tries to imagine what So-hyun has described.
DIRECTING INTENTION
I believe that all living things deserve to be loved just as they are. Yet I also experience the contradiction that this is difficult to achieve in reality, which leads me to question this belief at every turn. I made this film in the hope of finding a glimmer of an answer to these questions, by listening closely to life itself.
