SYNOPSIS

Kim, a young man who graduated from college, enters a small textile factory run by his distant relative, Mr. Park, and learns to work. Mr. Park tries to be nice to his workers, but they demand the basic rights of labor, including overtime pay. Kim feels confused while watching the conflict between Mr. Park and the workers. Adapted from Song Ki-suk’s short story “Calling Voice,” the film is inspired by Kim Min Gi’s song entitled “The Light of the Factory.”
