DIRECTING INTENTION
12 years ago, I moved to town of Seongmisan. My son went to a community day care center in town. That's when I became really curious about the possibilities of the town. 20 years ago, parents gathered in the town and launched an unprecedented experiment to break the mold of traditional education. They wanted to raise their children in a non-competitive way, which was later granted by the Korean government as the first communal child care. Time passed and the day care center became an alternative school. How would the children grow up in a town full of experimentalism?
Following the previous documentary, , starts with this question.
It follows two teenagers from when they were 17 to 23. They were raised by the communal town and it takes seven years for the teenagers to become young adults.
How would the clumsy youth grow in such short time?
