SYNOPSIS

Ms. Park, Soon-Ja who is over seventy has three roles. A wife, a mom for the children, and a woman of fighting for the unification of divided country. Ms. Park started her action as a leftist with the Liberation in 1945 and acted as a partisan in Jiri Mountain during the Korean War. I recorded Ms. Park's past and the present, and she often says "family life is more difficult than the leftist life.” I also recorded her comrades' stories who I met while being with Ms. Park.

DIRECTING INTENTION

I would like to portray a woman who improves her life by herself, showing a woman partisan, Park, Soon-Ja's life that she by herself has suffered from the fetters of contemporary history.
