SYNOPSIS
Tired of humanitiy’s mistakes, God decides to take a much-needed vacation to relax from all his troubles with the human species. But, to accomplish his plans, he need to find a saint to replace him while he is away. He decides to search for this saint in Brazil, a religious country, although it never had an officially certified saint of its own. His guide throughout Brazil is Taoca, a tire repairman and fisherman who sees in this encounter the opportunity to solve his material problems. Later, the lonely Mada, a young woman overtaken by a great passion, joins them. From the seashore of Alagoas to the interior of Tocantins, passing by Pernambuco through the northeast states of Brazil. Taoca, Mada and God experience some astounding adventures as they search for Quinca das Mulas, God’s latest candidate for sainthood.
