SYNOPSIS

This couple has shared a lot. Hyung - joo is a poor cartoonist and Yeon-kyung is a loan clerk at the bank. Though they are engaged, their love won't allow a wdding ceremony. One day, she gets drunk and stops by his old apartment in the middle of the night. Thus, a love story begins.

DIRECTING INTENTION

밥 딜런은 “세상이 너무 정치적이어서 사랑 따위는 있을 곳이 없다”고 노래했다. 이후 러브스토리라는 장르화한 이야기 유형은 내게 반격의 도구로 각인되었다. 어쨌거나 “돈 많이 벌게”란 말이 “사랑한다”는 말을 대신하는 연애담을 생각해낸 것이 이 불길한 이야기의 시작이다.
