This documentary containsthe demonstration of the Korean branch of NLD to struggle for democracy of Myanmar in Korea and the responses of the Korean society. Ezzo infiltrates back to his country for 9999 Uprising; a new generation Mojo enjoys computer games and plays; Lewin came to Korea to learn the history of Korean democracy struggles; Sharin became a family head after marrying a Korean; Ttein awoong was born and grew up in Burma with Indian nationality Yannaintun is a people’s cultural activist; these are the main characters on each day of the demonstrations. The camera focuses on their political activities and their lives and concerns in Korean society. They had the protests in front of Myanmar Embassy from September 5th to 9th in 1999. Holding the pictures of Aung San Suu Kyi and red flags, they cry and show their anger. But in contrast to Japan that permitted their refugee’s status and political freedom, our society was cold to them.

Korea is the only nation that the power of citizens won democracy among the nations which experienced dictatorships. There was a political demonstration of strangers in Korean society in 1999. The Korean branch of NLD admires the history of Korean democracy struggles. And they enforce public political activities as the position of illegal immigrants. The Korean government and NGOs, however, do not have any preparation of policy for them. In case of developed countries, they are legally protected as ‘political refugees,’ but Korea has never permitted them. Therefore, they should be repatriated to their country as illegal immigrants if any problem could happen in their political activities. The 5 days’ exclamation of the NLD Korean branch for their democracy comes back to our Korean society and resonates now.
