SYNOPSIS

An elderly Korean woman who married a G.I. she met during the Korea War has lived in the US for over forty tears. The history of her struggle with her family unfolds as she farms chilli peppers in a field over which the Korean flag flies.

DIRECTING INTENTION

According to the theory "the international is individual", international incidents or policies have an immeasurable influence upon individuals. I can see the painful contemporary Korean history and unequal relations between Korea and U.S. from Grandma Wike.
