SYNOPSIS

Youngtae and Miju move into a new house and are very pleased with it. Moreover, Youngtae gets an opportunity to take over a restaurant with help of a friend. Youngtae and Miju are hopeful about their fresh start. However, the friend suddenly cancels the partnership with Youngtae. Youngtae realizes once again that making money isn't easy. He leaves home, leaving Miju a note saying, "I'll go make money. Don't worry. Kike will hit a home run." Left alone, Miju engages in a debate about the nature of money with a loan shark who visits the house.

DIRECTING INTENTION

I tried to explore the complex human emotions of loneliness, sadness, joy, and pleasure through the everyday lives of a married couple. While doing so, I contemplated on what cinema was capable of achiving.
