TIME TABLE
SYNOPSIS

A disabled person, abandoned by family, society, and the system, suffers through exploitation and abuse. When his last means of survival, his welfare benefits, are stolen through fraud, he takes his own life. After he throws himself off the building's rooftop, the building is abandoned due to terrifying rumors of the 'Wheelchair Ghost.' The building owner's desperate efforts - involving YouTubers, the police, and various shamans - all fail to drive the spirit out. The entity is revealed to be more than a single angry soul; it is the collective fury of all those neglected by society. Salvation arrives in the form of a disabled shaman who hears out the ghost’s words and faces his lifetime of anguish. The shaman understands his pain, performs a ritual of solace, and concludes with a final ritual to appease the spirit - staging it directly outside the home of the social enterprise CEO who defrauded the man. The marginalized voices that society chose to ignore are still being heard.

DIRECTING INTENTION

The film originated from the imaginative concept of a battle between a 'Disabled Ghost' and a 'Disabled Shaman.' The Disabled Ghost represents the stigma of discrimination that society imposes upon disabled individuals, while the Shaman embodies the resilience and strength required to survive within that system. The conflict between these two is not about winning or losing; rather, it is a process of finding a way to live together without allowing difference to become discrimination. Yet, the reality is that the disabled community endures every form of prejudice that exists in this world. The Nazi T4 policy could potentially re-emerge anywhere, at any time, depending on circumstances. Disability is not a special weakness or misfortune - it is simply another way of living. Thus, through this imagined fight, the film seeks to demonstrate the meaninglessness of the boundary between disabled and non-disabled people, conveying only the shared human sorrow and rage.
