SYNOPSIS

Young-sun grew up in a children's home from an early age. She only saw her mother once a year on her birthday. It's her 18th birthday and Young-sun hopes to finally live with her mother.

DIRECTING INTENTION

Young people in the custody of the government are forced to be independent before they are ready, even before they become adults. I wanted to portray the various emotions when faced with bleak situations where they have to stand on their own, through the day Young-sun spends with her mother, on her birthday.
