SYNOPSIS
Three friends, former members of an idol group who had faded out of the spotlight, embark on a belated school trip to Jeju Island, driven by lingering regrets about missing their school trip back in their student days. However, the journey they had been planning for a long time starts going awry from the very first day.
DIRECTING INTENTION
It seems like the modern capitalist labor market is evolving in a way that constantly shifts responsibility onto individuals. As a result, people not only put in the effort but also bear self-blame. Difficulties are simply difficult. I hope people would not blame themselves. I wanted to convey that these hardships are not their fault, and that it is okay to show vulnerability to each other and to lean on one another. Rather than bottling everything up inside, wouldn’t it be better if we shared these feelings and found strength in each other’s company?
