'Murimjijon' is a famous website on martial arts, noted for its authenticity. On this website pops up a new post that sparks and instant controversy. The members of the site are completely taken aback and excitement permeates the atmosphere. Finally the poster of the ID Guhchilmaru announces that he or she will accept a combat challenge and show his or her face to the public for the first time. Guhchilmaru has astounded aficionados of martial arts lurking around the site by his or her extensive knowledge of all sorts of different arts, and everyone is naturally dying to know who this elusive character is, and whether he or she could fight as well as he or she preaches. He or she has been calling he or himself a master of martial arts for quite some time and has invited much public challenge to put his or her money where his or her mouth is, but he or she has consistently refused. People begin to speculate that the poster is a fake wannabe and this makes him or her accept the challenge. And a few days afterwards, eight fighters selected for hand-to-hand combat begin showing up at Sorak Mountain...

A modern person is more likely than not to be preoccupied with whatever flickers on a monitor for the better part of her day. Martial artists are still concerned with actually moving their bodies, and its various practitioners are as active as ever. So what does romance and adventure look like nowadays? I was curious as to how the old techniques were being disseminated, and the project took off from there. I'd like to thank the martial artists who had to brave freezing colds on a mountain to film, without help from any CGI.
