SYNOPSIS

The girl who likes to ask "Why?" Sang-yi was on her way to her grandmother's house on her mother's side. Sang-yi confessed her secrets to her family. But her family made a laughing stock out of her because they couldn;t understand her. Eventually. Sang-yi couldn't bear that and she ran away from her family.

DIRECTING INTENTION

이 영화에는 말의 효용에 구애받지 않고, ‘왜’라고 묻길 좋아하는 소녀가 등장한다. 이러한 인물을 제시하면서 왜 사람들은 질문하지 않는 편이 낫다고 생각하는지 묻고 싶었고, 이와 동시에 점점 신경질적으로 변해가는 소녀가 맘껏 혼란해지는 과정을 보여줌으로써, 불안과 고독에 대해 얘기하고 싶었다.
