In order to pay a bet lost to his cousin, black-haired Maiquel (as Michael) dyes his hair blond and starts facing life as he always wanted, strong and secure. Arriving at the bar, a criminal, Suel, is amused and laughs at Máiquel’s hair color. Visibly embarrassed because of Cledir’s presence, Máiquel sets a duel at noon the next day. The killing of Suel makes Máiquel think about running away but, suddenly, the neighborhood begin to show gratefulness and respect to Máiquel. The people’s satisfaction with the death of Suel is clear, even the police thanks Maiquel. It’s better to quit while you’re ahead, but Maiquel can’t stop after getting away with one murder.
