SYNOPSIS
The EPHPHATHA Struggle began with a resistance of the young disabled students of EPHPHATHA School in 1996. Even the president of Korea promised to solve the problem, but it got harder to solve it because of political corruption. Violence of the previous foundation made the disabled students gradually devastated.
DIRECTING INTENTION
Some established public TV shows dealt with the EPHPHATHA Struggle a couple of times. This film also uses many footages of the previous TV shows. It, however, tries to approach to the essential of the EPHPHATHA Struggle unlike previous point of views. This film also profoundly deals with the interior stories of EPHPHATHA teachers and students. Therefore, we will be able to understand the issues on EPHPHATHA Struggle in general.
