One day the company handed down old cement trucks to truck drivers and they were made owners. Although they are given much less rights than other workers, they can't be protected by any labor law because they are registered as private entrepreneurs. This documentary shows the cement truck drivers'extreme survival lessons they they learn as they fight against the company and the in-depth process of the legal fight in order to be recognized as workers.

한국의 노동시장 유연화 전략은 90년대부터 가시화되면서 IMF를 거치면서 본격화되었다. 이는 노동자들의 고용형태를 다변화시키면서 많은 비정규직과 특수고용노동자들을 만들어냈다. 이들의 고용불안과 실질적으로 더욱 나빠진 노동조건은 이들의 삶조차 힘겹게 하고 있었다. 살기 위해 싸울 수밖에 없는 노동자들과 이들의 투쟁속에서 우리 사회의 비정규직, 그중에서도 특수고용직 노동자들의 문제에 대해서 고민해보고 싶었다.
