영국 만체스터에서 이방인으로 살았던 1년의 시간을 돌아보는 노래. 그 자리에 있지만 있지 않은, 보이지만 보이지 않는 것 같은 그런 유령같은 정체성이랄까, 시간이랄까. 있지만 없는 그 (빈) 자리를 그려보고 싶었다. 마그리트의 <순례자>, 듀안 마이클의 <허수아비>, 장자의 ‘호접몽’의 ‘나비’ 등에서 모티브를 가져왔다.

It is a song that reflects the time of a year when he lives as a stranger in Manchester, England. I would like to describe a ghostlike identityor a time which is visible but also invisible, which he exists but also, does not. I wanted to picture the empty place which exists. Ibrought some motives from ‘The Pilgrim’ by Rene Magritte, ‘The Bogeyman’ by Duane Michals, and the butterfly of ‘a dream on a butterfly’ by Zhuangzi.
