SYNOPSIS

A shoeblack Daepo tries to send his friend Sang-gu and his girlfriend Miss Lee back home. Daepo says goodbye to his friend and his girlfriend, and volunteers to fight on the roof of the Jeonil Building, across from the provincial office. Miss Lee, a Gyeongsang lady, turns up on the roof with a carbine, determined to live or die with Daepo. The two are heroically martyred on the roof.
