SYNOPSIS
Starting to produce documentaries with Wonjin Special Tune 17 years ago, Kim Tae-il is now creating Pharmacy for Peasants since he visited the pharmacists in Haenam. Kim met them in the '100 Days' Assembly Walking to Protect Korean Rice' five years ago. And there are independent filmmakers who survive in 2008 with Kim Tae-il. Lee Ji-yeon is now the secretary-general of the Association of Korean Independent Film&Video, since she started working here in 2002. Kyung-soon had left Korea with her daughter Soo-rim to the Philippines with all her money for a year to take one year break. Now she returned to Korea to work on her next film Red Maria and to release her previous film, Shocking Family. Choi Jin-seong is busy with preparing for a feature film in Chungmuro and his lectures, working over the various fields of documentaries, feature films and music video productions. Lee Jong-pil's Light My Fire is ready to fly to the sky with its wings. Park Gwang-soo at Gangreung Cinematheque calls all of them to Jeongdongjin Independent Film&Video Festival. And we have seen the enthusiastic crossroads at Gwanghwamoon.
