In the age of national depression, “welfare” is an important keyword for us who live in this unhappy country of which only 1% of the privileged class are happy. To talk about the real welfare, instead of the logic for political debates or succoring the needy, we should share the issues; what are the anxieties of citizens and what kind of welfare politics are needed for our lives. When we realize that our problems are not that different from those of others after the residents and all the nation reveal their problems, we will be able to ask for the social changes instead that we solve our problems by ourselves. The contents by Hwajuckdan which contains the incidents that happened or is happening in our villages are asking ourselves now; how's living in your neighborhood.

This is the 2012 project of the Public Access Network and the National Media Movement Network. There are many people who have local media, express themselves and make public the social issues through the establishment of media centers and media education programs, the public accesses, the local community screenings and the various activities regarding media for the last decade. Their activities could be temporary or sometimes they give up their actions because of the lack of support. Although they produce their contents constantly, the distribution access are decreasing due to the reduction of local channels. Thus, their actions might stop at the level of self-satisfaction without any feedback. In this situation, the Public Access Network dreams of a better change; we produced the films with the topic of “welfare” all across the country and distribute them through podcasts.
