Ja-young is tired of trying to pass the civil service exam for eight years. She has separated with her mother and is forced to make her own way. By chance she meets Hyun-joo, a woman full of life. Driven by desire to be like her, Ja-young takes up running. At the same time, she begins a new job as a part-timer at her friend Min-ji’s company. She finds joy in the time she spends with Hyun-joo. However, her problems still remain, and she finds herself torn by them.

In a society where nothing is easily achieved, I felt that the body provides an honest reflection of the efforts we make. In a society that values bodily health and beauty, perhaps the body is an another ego that can be shown to others.
