An old man meets an old woman. They are recyclable collectors, who barely make their ends meet. The old woman’s unfriendliness annoys the old man, however the old man starts getting worried when the old woman suddenly disappears one day

Suicide of many elderly people is a huge issue in Korea. Many of their lives are at stakes under the poor welfare system, which leads many of them to collecting and selling recyclables to make a meager living. However this movie does not only address their despair but also their love expressed by the recyclables they collect. As flower budding out of mud is more beautiful and valuable, the humility from their tough living condition gives us a glimpse of hope.
