SYNOPSIS

The setting of these films concern the demolishment of a "Driving Range," "Dongdaemoon Stadium," “Vaedari," and finally "Ahyeon-dong."
These vacant lots serve as the loci for the performances occurring in these films.
The purpose of these films is to memorialize these once-active vacant lots that are now in the state shown.

DIRECTING INTENTION

Pausing, moving, remembering, disappearing, anticipating, fearing, its uncanniness, its mirage-like elements ... these are things that I do and sense when I see a vacant lot.
