SYNOPSIS

As soon as she arrives in Korea from Vietnam, Loan goes to a beauty salon with her new mother-in-law.

DIRECTING INTENTION

Asian women who come to Korea to marry Korean men are forced to become Korean women as soon as they get to Korea. Their Korean families teach them how to live as a mother-in-law, a wife and a mother. This is related to a Korean myth, which says that once women get married, they must be loyal to their in-laws . Why do Koreans compel those from other countries to follow this myth even if Korean women are not willing to accept it?
