SYNOPSIS

South Korea’s housing prices fluctuated a lot before and after the Olympic Games in 1988. The film is set against the backdrop of a time when nearly twenty people were forced to be dead in March-April alone due to an unprecedented surge in house leasing prices in 1990. In the industrial age, there were some people in South Korea who had to leave the countryside and live in the outskirts of Seoul. Their dream was to have a room on land where they would not be evicted.
