Hyun Soo, a woman in mid 20s, lives with a younger sister in a small leaky semi-basement flat. She tries to find a new job after an unfair dismissal. But it's not easy. And she can't get in touch with her boy friend. Sang Jin, a young man living on a rooftop of the flat has an unexpected visit from his father who is a vagabond painter. He sees Hyun Soo by chance and paints her and leaves to somewhere without saying goodbye. Thanks to the painting, Hyun Soo and Sang Jin meets.

Everybody is born in the same value of blessing. But as time goes by unhappiness and hopelessness comes to them inequally. So people become individual selves. Dissatisfaction between the ideal and the real makes conflicts and sadness. So it's very hard to sing a happy song in this world now. But even though it is so, I don't want to give up. I tried to give my affection to everyone in this film.
