Amouse naved 'Hanks' losses one of his arms by axxident during a motorcycle race with his friends. 'Hanks' enters Dr. Goodwill's hospital, and gets a new arm. One day while recuperating. Hanks enters Dr. Goodwill's laboratory, and discovers a human child. What seems to be a human child, being treated, is actually an animal for an experimint to grow arms, legs and tails.

‘Homo Geneticus’는 인류 진화결과의 하나가 될 것이라는 의미에서 지어진 이름으로, Genetic은 생물학적으로 “유전학적인; 유전(상의); 유전자의” 뜻이 있다. 즉, 환경적 요인에 의한 진화가 아닌 유전자 조작에 의한 진화로 이루어지게 될지도 모르는 미래의 인류의 모습을 지칭하는 조어이다. ‘Homo Geneticus’는 첨단 과학기술과 지넘 프로젝트로 대표되는 유전자 조작형의 생체공학의 양면성에 던지는 경고의 메시지를 담고 있다.
