TIME TABLE
SYNOPSIS
In the near future, as climate collapse and technological ruin erode society, even the sky has become unstable. Not only rain, snow, and blossoms, but fragments of structures—and even people—fall ceaselessly from above. Falling has become both a symbol of fear and a rhythm of ordinary life. To end her life, Yoon throws herself from a transmission tower. Yet when she opens her eyes, she is still alive. Beside her lies a vast crater. Over the years, it fills with water and becomes a pond—one that Yoon discovers, by chance, is an entrance into layered multiverse worlds. Beneath its surface, she encounters countless versions of herself, including the one who once chose to fall—her past self. At last, Yoon realizes that within the endless cycle of descent, only she can reach out and save herself. And so, she falls again, this time to grasp her own hand.
Falling is not an end, but a loop. And within that loop, we can find a fragment of ‘I’.
DIRECTING INTENTION
Everything falls. As we live, we experience countless forms of ‘Falling’—Crash, Breakage, Separation, and Mistakes. All of these words converge into the same sensation of falling. But does ‘Falling’ truly mean an end? Perhaps falling is, instead, the beginning of something new. This story centers on the imagination that the act of ‘Falling’ is not merely destruction or disappearance, but a passage into a new order. For Yoon, ‘falling’ is both a trauma and an existential question. At first, she perceives it with fear: it is unpredictable, unprotected, and premised on loss. But, by descending to the deepest point, she seeks to confront what lies beyond loss—to gaze at the light between the fractures.
