TIME TABLE

SYNOPSIS

A 21-year chronicle exploring the strange life and the cosmic thinking about death and life of Kim Uchang, one of Korea's foremost thinkers, who leads a life in complete agreement with his philosophy. What meaning do things and a house have to the scholar who cannot throw away his parents' belongings and cannot leave the house he has lived in for 40 years? Can he ever complete his final book?

DIRECTING INTENTION

After suffering a great loss in my twenties, I have lived for a long time struggling against the urge to die. However, with the help of Professor Kim, I learned to love the “soul of poetry” — the heart that can enjoy a single ray of warm sunshine even amidst pain and tragedy. This film will be like warm spring sunshine on your journey of self-reflection as you search for your own path.
