SYNOPSIS

Se-oh, a native Korean man, born to Korean parents as a Black individual. Having lived in loneliness apart from his family, he collapses from overwork while working at an amusement park. After spending all his savings on luxury clothes and a suitcase, he embarks on a special journey with Sora, a woman he happens to meet at the park.

DIRECTING INTENTION

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, hatred toward others and minorities has continued to grow.
Set in Korea in 2022, just after the pandemic, this film follows the journey of Se-oh, a biracial Black man, and So-ra, a lesbian. As we join them on their journey—two people living like “mutants” in a conservative and divided society—the film invites us to reflect on the true meaning of love and communication in an age marked by hatred and disconnection.
