TIME TABLE
SYNOPSIS

While walking through the grounds of her old high school, film director Won Minoo is stunned by the news: her ex-husband, Song Cheonji, is now a city council member in Daejeon. That night, Minjoo and Cheonji reconnect over drinks, leading Minju to spend the night at his council office. The tension peaks the following evening during a suspicious dinner party that includes Minjoo, Cheonji, his wife Soonhwa, and an unsettling man introduced as Cheonji's assistant.
Film director Lee Wonjoong is staying in Serbia for reasons unknown. A self proclaimed Korean film journalist named Sarah finds him there to conduct an interview, and in the days that follow, Wonjoong realizes Sarah is pursuing him. As Wonjoong flees and Sarah chases, the situation grows ambiguous when Sarah herself becomes pursued by others.
While backpacking through Nong Khai, Thailand, travel YouTuber Hana is coerced by Korean thugs into following another Korean traveler, Minjoo. The two women collaborate to flee to a different city. But the moment they arrive, they are confronted by a profound disorientation: the people who had been with them in Nong Khai are inexplicably living parallel, altered lives in this new place.

DIRECTING INTENTION

People dream of hopes of an unimaginable scale, only to eventually concede to the present, accepting ordinariness as they age. Some might call this life a tragedy. If so, how wonderful would it be to live forever in a state of dreaming? This film captures life through the eyes of an 'observer,' weaving together the perspectives of characters who inhabit different timelines. We remain fearful of abandoning reality, yet we still long for a world that is completely separate from it. The film reaffirms that this dream is an essential component of life.
