SYNOPSIS
Even at this moment, the rivers in Korea become desolate as you cannot see the previous appearance. The forklifts scoop mud from the rivers, and ready mix trucks pour out cement.
DIRECTING INTENTION
The whirlwind Four-River Development Project is changing the looks of rivers every day. The lives in the river are forced out to death. 70.4% of Korean population disagrees with the Project, but it progresses without a hitch. City dwellers are forgetting the project due to their busy life; residents at the riverside do not know every happening in their village. Fantasizing development from the project, some think that they cannot stop the government. They leave their home with defeatism. Others fight against the government thinking that they cannot leave their ‘home.’ This film recorded the Four-River Development Project by April 2010. I hope you to check up the construction fields of the project and to think together how to protect the rivers.
