Dong-joo has been preparing for the civil service examination for over 8 years, but he has failed repeatedly. Even in the year he considered himself to be his last, he eventually failed the exam, and he doesn’t know what to do next. Feeling the pressure of even the worries and interests of those around him, he leaves Seoul as if to run away. As he reunites with past relationships and meets people by chance on a trip, Dong-joo looks back on his life.

Our generation is accustomed to living in “preparatory something” for a long time. There’s nothing more terrifying than feeling alone in summer while others come to fall and bear fruit. But as winter passes and spring comes, we believe that our time will come to us as well.
