SYNOPSIS
No one is seen in dark night. A driver runs over a fox while dozing off at the wheel on the lonely road. First, he feels guilty. As, however, other animals not from the forest keep coming in front of him, his sense of guilt turns to a shock and anger.
DIRECTING INTENTION
Road kill is a tragic occurrence that is far too frequent and widespread across the world. We may think it doesn't concern us, but everyone sees road kill at least once in their life. It may seem shocking at first, but it is so common that after a while we can turn around and forget about it. This animation brings viewers face to face with the reality that they wanted to avoid. It not only lets us reflect upon the event of road kill itself and feel guilty about it, but also examines people's points of view, attitudes, and perceptions of road kill.
The viewers will realize that our cruel and irresponsible attitude toward road kill is the cause of the vicious cycle, and that they themselves are one of the links in the cycle.
