SYNOPSIS
Joan has been married for twenty five years to her first love. She's let herself go, and sex is a rare non-event. After the untimely death of her husband, Joan needs money to pay the mortgage or lose her home. She hits upon the idea of forming a co-operative brothel, aided by her two unconventional friends. A brothel with no sex!
DIRECTING INTENTION
I wanted to make a film starring two actors I have known for many years. Jeni (Howarth Williams) and actress/friend Denice (Hope) were both willing to work on the project. I wanted the film to have no nudity as that would diminish the chances of it selling, but I liked the idea of innuendo and titillation. Filming took over a year, due to all actors working on deferred payment and my project having to fit in with their busy schedules. Some days I had a crew of five - other days, a crew of one!
